New and improved

I am changing things up a bit as I tend to do, so bear with me and the mess as I try and learn how to build this website myself. I’m going to be adding my blogs posts from the dear soulseeker blog so that I can get things streamlined. I struggle with this blogging mess and I need it as easy as possible. So if you’re new here, get caught up. You will see old stuff, new stuff, and who knows what else! But my goal is to eventually have a really nice informative site where you can come to get information, feed your soul and start or continue on that journey to living your best life.

The beginning of your wellness journey starts here.

Dear Soul Seekers,

Welcome to our new website where we will be guiding you on your journey towards wellness. I will be focusing on the physical, spiritual and mental aspects of wellness. But first, let me introduce myself to you. My name is Laura, and I have a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and a Masters degree in Education. I like learning! I have spent time working as a family and children’s therapist and I have spent the last 5 years teaching 8th grade students how to read and write. The struggle is real! My husband Jeff has been a pharmacist for over 25 years. He is the smartest person I know especially when it comes to medication and your health.
Your journey begins with you spending time on yourself. I believe that the best gift that you can give yourself is time: time to reflect and listen to what your heart desires, a break from the “noise” of your life to find out what you know to be true for you. I truly believe happiness comes when you are living the life that is most reflective of you; true to your beliefs, true to your passions and desires, and true to that inner voice that guides you. Over the course of the next several weeks, I will be writing about the 6 dimensions of wellness. According to Dr. Bill Hettler, the co-founder of the National Wellness Institute, it is the interaction of these 6 dimensions of wellness that can lead to a healthier and happier life. Join me over the next 6 weeks as I discuss this paradigm and how you can work to achieve the life you truly deserve.
