Fall Colors

Our fall has been fantastic this year. Our temps have been consistently mild which is good for Texas. Normally we go from hot to cold overnight. One day we have on the AC, and the next day we are cranking up the furnace. But not this year. This year the change has been gradual, and I have loved it.

But this next week, we have snow/ice/freezing rain/sleet predicted. They aren’t sure which form of precipitation we will get, but they know for sure it will be cold and wet. So I got outside this weekend to capture one last glimpse of summer.

My zinnias and cosmos are still in full bloom and not stopping. The bees and butterflies were buzzing around getting those last few bits of pollen. After this week, they will all be gone.
